Editorial Policy

DeFi Tools Guide separates reporting, analysis, tools and commercial content. We do not present rumors as confirmed incidents and do not let sponsors change event status, risk descriptions or source selection.

Who writes this

Articles carry the byline DeFi Tools Guide Editorial Team. That name stands for the desk that produces this site, not for a single named reporter. We use a desk attribution because safety briefs are compiled from source documents, official statements and public-chain evidence rather than from one person's notebook, and because attributing them to an individual would suggest a kind of eyewitness reporting we do not do.

The byline carries real accountability. Every brief names its sources and the time they were checked, an editor reviews the risk language before publication, and corrections are dated rather than silently applied. If you want a source revisited or a conclusion challenged, the contact page reaches the same desk.

Verification

Material claims are checked against primary sources, official statements, public-chain evidence or independent security analysis. Confidence describes evidence coverage, not protocol safety.

Corrections

When a material detail changes, the article or incident record displays an updated timestamp and correction note. Previous versions remain in the editorial archive.

Commercial separation

Sponsored, affiliate and partner content is labeled. Paid placement cannot purchase a favorable safety conclusion or a confirmed status.
